    As an independent film festival--one of only 10 all-Israeli programs in all of North America-- we screen a mix of award-winning features, documentaries, shorts and TV series made in Israel in the previous 12 months and uniquely chosen for our audience in greater Chicago. Our mission is to spread a love and appreciation of contemporary Israeli culture through the magic of film. What does that mean, and why is that important? Our films humanize Israel and Israelis, well beyond the headlines. We put an unvarnished, multi-cultural face to Israel and lay bare Israeli hearts and souls. Family matters. Friends matter.
