ELI BATALION is a writer, producer, actor and composer for film, TV, the web and the stage.
Eli has written, composed and produced in various capacities for dozens of projects ranging from award-winning horror musical films screened and distributed internationally (including the Magnolia-released Stage Fright starring Minnie Driver and Meat Loaf and the Sundance cult short film The Legend of Beaver Dam, selected to TIFF, Sundance, Berlinale and over 75 global film festivals) to touring musical comedy productions (including the fringe hit JOB: The Hip-Hop Musical)
Eli is one of the co-creators of YidLife Crisis, a Jewish web series turned cultural brand which won the 2017 IAWTV Award for Best Non-English Series and has been nominated for 4 Canadian Screen Awards. One of its short, The Double Date, won an Audience Award at the Seattle Jewish Film Festival.
His latest project, the coming-of-age tech comedy feature APPINESS, is supported by the Telefilm Talent to Watch program in Canada.
Eli holds a DEC in Creative Arts from Dawson College, a B.A. from Brown University and an M.B.A. from HEC MontreĢal.
